Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time night shift position in Orange City. You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients, and coordinate with the care team to deliver holistic healing within a faith-based environment.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), FloridaRN licensure, and strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Must have nursing knowledge and be able to apply care methods.
English fluency in reading, speaking and writing is required.
RN license required with applicable state certifications.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise them as needed.
Administer medications and treatments safely following physician orders.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care.
Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and teamwork.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
Ensure infection control, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate care within the healthcare team.
Engage in performance improvement activities to enhance care.
