Job summary

Kaiser Permanente NW is seeking a registered nurse with NICU experience to provide comprehensive patient care under supervision. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate nursing care for patients, coordinating with the health care team to ensure effective outcomes.

The role requires NICU experience, Oregon RN license, BLS and NRP at hire, and a graduate of an accredited nursing program. Expect variable shifts including days or nights at a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience.
• NICU internship or experience within the last 5 years.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• Registered Nurse license (Oregon) required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments and plan patient care.
• Coordinate discharge planning with hospital departments and community agencies.
• Document care in the EMR and follow physician plans of care.
• Evaluate patient responses and participate in quality assurance activities.
