Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the healthcare team and patient/family, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs with compassionate care.

You will promote patient health and safety through the nursing process, following standards and the State Nurse Practice Act, and document care accurately within a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma/endorsement required.
• RN License in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: Medium work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records and clinical data; evaluate response and intervene to optimize outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes with nursing standards with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts and records; document status, interventions, patient response and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decision-making.
• Promote, advocate, and collaborate to protect patient health, safety and rights.
• Provide patient/family education by assessing learning readiness and teaching effectiveness.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing

Nursing Diploma or endorsement

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
