Job summary

Prisma Health—Greer Medical Campus seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical direction in an acute inpatient setting. You will implement evidence-based nursing processes, assess patient needs, and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires adapting to shift work including nights, weekends, and on-calls while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and Prisma Health policies.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN licensure and ongoing competency requirements.
• Night shift familiarity with inpatient nursing routines.
• Ability to work within the scope of practice per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment utilizing appropriate standards and tools.
• Develops an individualized plan of care in collaboration with patient and family.
• Updates the plan based on changes in patient condition and communicates with the team.
• Sets realistic, measurable goals prior to discharge and coordinates transitions.
• Provides direct care aligned with the nursing plan and delegates tasks as appropriate.
