Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the ICU Neuro. The role provides direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting, with night shift duties and adherence to evidence-based nursing practice.

You will develop and modify patient plans, collaborate with the healthcare team, document thoroughly, and ensure safety and quality standards. A one-year RN experience and an Associate degree in Nursing are required, with a Bachelor’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
• Current RN license in the state where the team member works.
• In lieu of one year RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency or comparable residency accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to assigned patients per the nursing plan.
• Develops individual care plans with patient/family, providers, and care team.
• Updates plan based on patient condition and communicates changes.
• Documents progress and outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Ensures patient safety and adherence to infection control and safety policies.
• Collaborates with healthcare team and coordinates discharge planning.
