Ochsner Health System is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for NICU care in New Orleans. This part‑time position involves providing specialized respiratory care, oxygen therapy, diagnostics, and ventilation support for neonatal to geriatric patients according to physician orders and policy.

The role requires current RT licensure in Louisiana, an Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred), and BLS; ACLS and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
• BLS must be current; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory therapies per policy.
• Review and document clinical information for each patient.
• Educate patients and staff on procedures and treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and assist with ventilatory support.
