Job summary

Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, OH, seeks an Associate Respiratory Care Manager to oversee overnight operations of Respiratory Care services across assigned areas. This leadership role provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance management of respiratory staff and serves as the primary leadership presence.

The Associate Manager aligns with Respiratory Care leadership goals, policies, and initiatives, ensures safe, high-quality patient care, reports to the Respiratory Care Manager,

Qualifications

• Minimum level of education: Associate degree.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Care or Health Care Administration or Organizational Improvement.
• Valid Ohio Respiratory Care license and NBRC credential.
• Current BLS CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• 3–5 years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight operational Respiratory Care services across assigned care areas.
• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management of respiratory staff.
• Serve as the primary leadership presence and collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure safe, high-quality patient care and meet operational and fiscal accountabilities; staff development is emphasized.
