System Support is seeking an Associate Respiratory Care Manager to lead the overnight operation of Respiratory Care services across assigned areas. You will supervise staff, coach performance, and partner with physicians, nursing, and leaders to meet clinical and financial goals.
You will ensure safe, high-quality patient care, drive staff development, and implement performance improvements. Must hold Ohio Respiratory Care license, NBRC RRT, and BLS/ACLS/PALS; neonatal experience preferred.
The Associate Respiratory Care Manager is a formal leadership role responsible for the overnight operational oversight of Respiratory Care services across assigned care areas. This role provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance management of respiratory staff and serves as the primary leadership presence. The Associate Manager supports departmental goals, policies, and initiatives established by Respiratory Care leadership and ensures safe, high-quality, and consistent patient care. This position reports directly to the designated Respiratory Care Manager and works in close partnership with Respiratory, physicians, nursing, and other stakeholders. He/she assures operational and fiscal accountabilities are met. Staff development is a key responsibility.
Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 3 - 5 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Prior specific functional responsibilities: Critical Care expertise in all areas or with all similar functions as defined by the area [Ventilator Management, intubations, proning, etc.]
Preferred experience: Previous supervisory experience is recommended; RRT in a neonatal critical care Level III NICU; neonatal intubation,
Other experience requirements: Demonstrated participation or leadership in performance improvement initiatives. Participation and/or leadership in new equipment implementation. Participation in Interdisciplinary care activities.
