Job summary

Kettering Health Main Campus in Dayton, OH is seeking a Full-Time Respiratory Therapist for night 12-hour shifts. The role focuses on comprehensive respiratory care across all ages, ventilator management, and airway therapies.

Ideal candidates hold an active Ohio license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, are a Registered Respiratory Therapist, and possess ACLS/BLS certifications. NICU experience is highly preferred and patient safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• Must be an RRT with state licensure and ACLS/BLS credentials.
• NICU experience is required or preferred as noted in the posting.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care program (AS/AA or higher).

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical respiratory care for all age groups with high competency.
• Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and airway support devices.
• Manage humidity/aerosol systems and medical gas delivery.
• Assist with bronchoscopy procedures and CPAP therapy.
• Perform ABG puncture, analysis and interpretation.
• Maintain infection control practices to ensure patient safety.
