Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago seeks a Registered Nurse for the NICU to provide high-level neonatal care from post-delivery stabilization through discharge. You will deliver safe patient care, support families, and collaborate with a dedicated NICU team.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS, and NRP certificates with NICU experience; BSN is preferred. Day shift with weekends rotating and a $10,000 sign-on bonus are offered, along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• NRP (AHA) certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• One year experience in an acute care setting with experience in nursery or NICU environment.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver NICU patient care using the nursing process from post-delivery stabilization through discharge.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment; ensure a safe environment for patients and visitors.
