Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery. You will deliver safe patient care using the nursing process and guide family teaching in the Birthplace setting.

The role requires the ability to respond quickly to changing conditions and to maintain patient safety for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods. The position is full-time, night shift with rotating weekends, located at 60622.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications required or within stated timelines.
• Fetal monitoring certification within required windows.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide direct patient care for antepartum and postpartum mothers and newborns.
• Educate and guide patient/family and nursing staff as needed.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and treatment response.
