Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU in the Family Birth Place, located within Hartford HealthCare's network. The role focuses on evidence-based nursing care for neonates and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Under Nursing Leadership, you will contribute to comprehensive care plans, participate in nurse residency education, and support the hospital's commitment to top-tier patient outcomes. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Associate’s degree in Nursing.
  • Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.
  • One year of experience with a minimum of 1000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse.
  • Registered Nurse, State of CT.
  • Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Must be able to effectively communicate information in English.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Utilize evidence-based practices in accordance with hospital policies.
