Kaiser Permanente in Oregon is seeking a registered nurse for NICU care, collaborating with the health care team to diagnose and respond to patient health needs. The RN assesses, plans, directs, and evaluates nursing care and coordinates with other disciplines to ensure optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, Oregon RN license, BLS, and NRP, with NICU experience (minimum nine months) or completion of Kaiser NW RN New Grad Internship in NICU.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Registered Nurse License (Oregon)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program required at hire.
• Eighteen (18) months NICU experience in the last 5 years
• Minimum nine (9) months of RN experience

Responsabilités

• Assesses patients using comprehensive, multi-system evaluations and coordinates care with the health team.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans and discharge plans.
• Implements physician orders and nursing protocols; documents in EMR; delegates appropriately.
• Evaluates patient responses to interventions and participates in unit quality assurance.
