Frederick Health is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse to join our Level III NICU. The role covers day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, with a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule and a 3-shift weekly pattern including weekends and holidays.

The NICU admits extremely low birth weight babies, with a 30-bed unit and about 10 daily admissions on average. Responsibilities include independent patient care using the nursing process, leadership and teaching duties, and adherence to hospital policies.

Formación

• Associates degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and discharge planning needs.
• Document and communicate patient conditions promptly to the health care team.
• Initiate individualized care plans using nursing diagnoses.
• Participate in development of standards of care and quality improvement.
