Frederick Health in Frederick, MD is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the NICU on night shift. The role requires caring for extremely low birth weight and fragile neonates in a Level III NICU, with 72 hours bi-weekly and three 12-hour shifts weekly.

You will perform nursing assessments, develop and adjust care plans, educate families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualifikationen

• Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Maryland or compact state.
• Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred or obtainable within 5 years.
• BLS certification required; NRP certification required upon hire or within 90 days of employment.

• Assess biophysical, psychosocial, environmental needs and discharge planning.
• Document and communicate changes; assess and prioritize patient needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using nursing diagnoses; includes family and community resources.
• Educate patient/family and collaborate with health care team; participate in quality improvement.
