Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in the NICU for third shift (nights) with a full-time schedule, including every other weekend. The NICU unit provides level III care for preterm infants, with cross-training to newborn nursery and deliveries as needed.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree in nursing, a Kentucky license, and BCLS/NRP certifications within 90 days of hire. Prior NICU experience is preferred but new grads may be considered.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process for assigned patients according to age-related care (infant to geriatric) and organizational policies.
• Promote positive patient outcomes and quality care; participate in unit-based and hospital governance councils.
