Fairview Health Services in Maplewood, MN is seeking a dedicated RN for the St. John’s Hospital NICU.

The 21-bed level 3 NICU cares for infants from 28 weeks gestational age and older, with night shifts of 8 hours, totaling 56 hours every two weeks and an every-other-weekend rotation. You will assess mothers and infants, administer medications, support breastfeeding, and coordinate care with the interprofessional team to work toward family independence at home.

Competenze

• Active MN RN license required.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• NRP certification within 6 months post hire on the unit.
• At least 1 year RN experience in an Acute Care Hospital or NICU capstone/internship.

Mansioni

• Coordinate care for a group of patients.
• Assess and document learning needs; develop an education plan for patients and families.
• Apply nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Communicate with patient/family, physicians, and interprofessional team.
• Promote quality, safety, and efficiency in patient care.
