Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care; involves families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and continuously evaluates outcomes.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Provide age-appropriate care across the neonatal spectrum.
