Job summary

Advocate Health in Monroe, NC is seeking a registered nurse for our 7-bed Level III NICU to provide specialized neonatal care. You will implement the nursing process, monitor fragile neonates, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, family-centered care.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a NICU setting, demonstrates strong clinical judgment, and maintains certifications such as BLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year NICU experience and neonatal observation/support.
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges in the state(s) where the client is located.
• BLS certification; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the team.
• Maintains accurate EHR documentation and adheres to safety standards.
• May float to other units within the service area as needed.
