Job summary

Advocate Health's Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Neurosurgery ICU (NSICU). This full-time, night-shift position offers a 36-hour workweek with rotating weekends and holidays.

The NSICU unit provides comprehensive care for adolescents to geriatrics, with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio and private rooms in a high-acuity setting. We value nurses who completed an accredited program, hold an RN license in the state, have at least 6 months of RN

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• At least 6 months RN experience.
• RN license issued in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Apply evidence-based practice and effective communication to ensure patient safety and quality care.
