Qualifications

• RN experience in NICU (Level III/IV)
• Nursing licensure required (Texas)
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to neonatal patients per nursing standards.
• Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes per standards.
• Develops/discharges/transfers care plans as part of treatment.
• Engages in systematic evaluation of programs and process improvement.
• Addresses diverse patient needs across the continuum of care.
• Adheres to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
• Ensures safety for patients, staff, and visitors within policies.
• Supports professional development and may serve as preceptor/mentor.
• Provides compassionate, personalized experiences to patients and families.
