Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit seeks an Associate Nurse Manager - NICU (Nocturnal) to assist in planning, directing and evaluating 24-hour patient care operations. You will help lead a team of care providers in delivering patient-focused care, ensuring effective collaboration and outcomes in the NICU.

Required is a baccalaureate degree in nursing with an Ohio RN license and at least two years of clinical nursing experience; a Master's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.
• Current Ohio RN license is required or eligible.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organization, direction and evaluation of patient care operations on a 24-hour basis.
• Support the nursing manager in coaching and evaluating staff and ensuring high quality patient care.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care operations and services.

Education

Baccalaureate degree in nursing
