Job summary

Palmetto-General-Hospital is seeking an experienced NICU RN to deliver advanced nursing care to neonates in a high-acuity NICU. You will perform comprehensive nursing processes, prepare equipment, and assist physicians during treatments.

Col­laborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure developmentally appropriate care and may float to other units after six months in NICU, as needed by department leadership.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required.
• Current BLS card.
• NRP certification within 3 months if new to area.
• STABLE certification within 3 months if new to area.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care to NICU neonates.
• Apply nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for unit standards.
