Palmetto-General-Hospital in Florida seeks a NICU nurse to deliver advanced professional and technical nursing care to neonates admitted to the NICU, including those with prematurity or illness. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and float within NICU after six months.

The role requires Florida RN license, BLS, NRP and STABLE within specified timelines, and clear background and drug test. Experience in acute care preferred.

Formación

• One (1) year of acute hospital experience preferred.
• Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)

Responsabilidades

• Deliver advanced professional and technical nursing care to NICU neonates.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide age/developmentally appropriate care.
• Assist physician during treatment and examination of patients.
• Nurses may float within the NICU after six months of experience.
• May work beyond the regular tour of duty or in another patient care unit as assigned.
