Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week, 1900-0730, weekend rotation, and a sign-on bonus of $25,000. The unit cares for neonates, requires NLN-certified grads, IL license, and BLS/CPR.

Compensation is hourly between $37.25 and $57.74, determined by experience. The organization provides premium pay, annual increases, and pathways for professional growth, with comprehensive medical and retirement

Qualifications

Graduate of NLN accredited school of nursing required.
BSN strongly preferred.
Current IL nursing license required.
BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.
