Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with 1900-0730 shifts and weekend rotation, and includes a $25,000 sign-on bonus based on 18+ months NICU/ISCU experience.

You will provide safe, compassionate ISCU nursing care, apply the nursing process, and lead assigned UAPs while collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: NLN-accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• License: Current IL nursing license required.
• Experience: 1 year acute care nursing or ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety and promote high-quality patient experience.
