Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. You will provide safe, compassionate nursing care, using the nursing process and coordinating with the care team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

The role requires NLN-accredited nursing training, IL RN licensure, BLS, and NICU/ISCU experience; 36 hours per week with 7:00 PM–7:30 AM shifts, full-time status, and a $25,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program is required; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider required (AHA).
• Current IL nursing license required.
• 1 year of acute care nursing or 1 year of ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.
