Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) offers a sign-on bonus and a schedule of 1900–0730 with weekend rotation.

Required are NLN-accredited nursing education, IL licensure, and BLS/CPR certification; 1 year ICU experience preferred, with NICU/ISCU experience highly valued. Competitive pay range and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
