Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU). This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a $25,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Shifts are 1900-0730, 36 hours per week with weekend rotation; float assistance as needed. Ideal candidates hold an IL nursing license, BLS/CPR, and have NICU/ISCU experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing; BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Provider (AHA) required.
• Current IL nursing licensure.
• 1 year acute care nursing or 1 year ISCU experience preferred.
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
