Job summary

AdventHealth Parker, CO is seeking an experienced RN for the NICU to coordinate patient care across units and implement individualized care plans. You will monitor progress, collaborate with physicians and staff, and ensure timely, safe care for critically ill newborns.

The role emphasizes unit leadership, education for families, and ongoing quality improvement. Must hold an RN license and demonstrate clinical excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure and current nursing license in good standing.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to adjust care plans.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff on the unit.
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across PACU, inpatient units, Radiology and anesthesia.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments and orders.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists and other providers.
• Prioritize patient needs based on acuity to ensure timely care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
