Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a senior operations leader in New Hampshire to guide NH System Operators within the ESCC and SOC. You will oversee control center staff, initiate corrective actions, and ensure safe, reliable operations through rigorous adherence to policies and procedures.

Minimum five years of dispatching experience and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering Technology are required, with NERC certification or the ability to obtain it within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years dispatching or related experience.
• NERC Transmission Operator Certification or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Direct NH System Operators and coordinate 24x7 response to system conditions.
• Oversee dispatching, staffing, hiring, and performance reviews.
• Communicate risks, plans, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with procedures and standards.
• Travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary for operations and emergencies.
