Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
• Hands‑on lab experience with molecular biology techniques and/or NGS workflows.
• Experience in regulated or quality‑controlled labs preferred.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust or government clearance, as applicable.

Aufgaben

• Perform NGS and molecular biology activities for sequencing respiratory viruses.
• Independently execute end‑to‑end NGS workflows including extraction, library prep, amplification, and sequencing.
• Operate and troubleshoot NGS platforms and lab instrumentation per SOPs.
• Assist in development, optimization, and validation of NGS assays and workflows.
• Maintain accurate lab records and ensure biosafety and quality management compliance.
• Apply basic bioinformatics knowledge to support sequencing data interpretation.
