Chenega Services and Federal Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Genomics Laboratory Manager to oversee daily genomic, biosurveillance, and systems biology lab operations, supporting multi-omics and sequencing projects.

You will ensure regulatory compliance and lead training for personnel while coordinating equipment maintenance and supply chains. The role requires deep NGS experience, proficiency with Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms, and the ability to collaborate with investigators and vendors

Qualifications

• Master's degree in molecular biology or closely related field.
• 10+ years of direct biological laboratory management experience.
• Experience leading a biological research lab and personnel.
• Experience with NGS workflows and genomic lab operations.
• Experience in BSL-2 environments.
• Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS 1–2 times per year.
• Ability to obtain BPRP enrollment and pass background checks.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily genomic, biosurveillance, and systems biology lab operations for multi-omics and sequencing.
• Perform and support NGS workflows on Illumina and Oxford Nanopore platforms.
• Oversee nucleic acid extraction, QC, library prep, and bioanalysis.
• Maintain equipment prep, calibration, maintenance, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, biosafety, and documentation.
• Train personnel and track safety, SOP, and recordkeeping.
• Provide routine status reports on operations, inventory, and procurement.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators and external partners.
