Alexion seeks NF1 PN and HPP Patient Education Managers to engage with NF1 and HPP patient communities through 1:1 meetings and education programs. Collaborate with Patient Advocacy teams to raise awareness, connect patients to support resources, and refer to Case Managers.

This field-based role requires 60-80% travel across IL, IN, MN, WI, IA; strong presentation skills, empathy, and experience with rare diseases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years business experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience engaging with patients and caregivers with rare/chronic conditions.
• Empathy for others with proven ability to listen well, connect meaningfully, and present complex information in a clear and engaging manner during 1:1 meetings.
• High initiative, solid work ethic, and consistent accountability.
• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to frequent change in a high-energy environment.
• Excellent presentation skills to diverse stakeholders in varied settings that will include groups of 150+ people.
• Strong organizational capabilities that will facilitate strategic and efficient territory management over a large geography.
• Willingness to travel 60-80% of time, including evenings and weekends; territory IL, IN, MN, WI, IA.
• BA/BS degree required, advanced degree a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop regional patient engagement plans with advocacy and brand teams.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to execute local patient outreach compliantly and effectively.
• Educate patients and families via 1:1 meetings about NF1/HPP and related programs.
• Conduct in-person or virtual educational events to deliver disease and product information at scale.
• Educate offices on PEM role and OneSource via inservices live and virtual.
• Build a rare disease network of NF1 PN and HPP advocates through local events.
• Track and report year-to-date progress to leadership.
