Job summary

Gateway Church is seeking an Next Steps Associate Pastor to lead the campus assimilation path with vision from the Next Steps Pastor. You will shepherd Serve Team members, coordinate baptisms and membership onboarding, and ensure each guest is personally connected and followed up with.

The role emphasizes pastoral leadership, effective communication, and systems-based ministry to move people through next steps while modeling biblical principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Licensed as a minister, or eligible to be licensed upon employment.
• Two or more years of ministry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of campus assimilation path.
• Lead Serve Team and congregants served by the path.
• Conduct weekly one-on-one oversights for development.
• Coordinate baptisms, membership, and new-member onboarding.
• Manage budget for their area within approved thresholds.
• Track and report attendance, salvations, and prayer requests.
• Ensure timely follow-up with guests and next steps.
