Job summary

Gateway Church is seeking a Next Steps Associate Pastor (NFW) to oversee the campus assimilation path, including Growth Path sessions, guest follow-up, baptisms, and membership. The role pastors the people moving through each step and ensures timely, personal contact for those making decisions for Christ or taking next steps.

The ideal candidate will have ministry leadership experience, a biblical foundation, and the ability to develop teams while managing budgets and reporting.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of ministry experience — required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience — required.
• Licensed as a minister, or eligible to be licensed upon employment — required.
• Prior experience in a multisite church environment — preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of the Next Steps at the campus.
• Lead the Serve Team and congregants they serve.
• Recruit, train, and retain Serve Team members.
