Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a solid academic record or completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program.
• High School Diploma/GED with two years of supervisory experience.
• Completion of Store Manager training LEAP or Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of start date.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters; manages the front end of the store.
• Supports Store Manager with overall store operations and schedules; assumes responsibilities in their absence.
• Monitors customer service metrics and coaches staff to improve the customer experience.
• Manages inventory, cash handling, and price changes; ensures security and safety of store assets.
• Analyzes financial data and drives actions to meet business deliverables; collaborates with leadership to identify growth opportunities.
• Provides training, coaching, and performance management; supports talent development and succession planning.
• Ensures compliance with company policies and laws, including alcohol, tobacco, pharmacy products, and food safety.
• Promotes merchandising standards and asset protection; supports community outreach initiatives.
