Responsibilities

• Participate in and complete a one-year long, non-rotational training program while creating and adding value to assigned department.
• Receive job specific training, general training in banking, communication and leadership, and personalized coaching and feedback.
• Performance measures may include tests, peer and sponsor feedback, facilitator feedback, and year-end appraisal.
• Core Training: learn banking, financial skills, technical skills, and leadership/interpersonal skills.
• Group Projects: collaborate with peers and project sponsors and present to senior management.
• On-the-Job Training: combine core training with on-the-job training to learn policies, procedures, systems, and products.
• Complete tasks in compliance with laws and regulations and support risk management and internal controls.
• Maintain internal control standards and address audit points as applicable.
• Promote belonging and the M&T Bank brand.
