Job summary

WBFF is seeking an Overdrive Director for our newscasts. The role involves building shows with Ross Overdrive and directing assigned productions, ensuring smooth daily operations of the show.

You will oversee production, keep the studio and control room in top condition, and handle tasks as assigned. Strong communication under pressure and accurate typing/spelling are essential.

A college degree is preferred, and candidates should be able to lift and position lighting instruments up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years experience directing newscasts.
• Experience with Ross Overdrive is a huge plus.
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew while under pressure.
• Strong typing and spelling skills.
• The ability to read and write.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Must be able to lift and position 25 pound lighting instruments.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $21.05 to $24.76. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
