Job summary

Sinclair Broadcast Group in Baltimore is seeking a production director to direct newscasts and oversee daily show production. You will manage the production studio and control room to ensure smooth broadcasts and timely execution.

Required are 2-5 years directing newscasts, ability to lead under pressure, strong typing/writing, and a college degree is preferred. Must be able to lift lighting gear and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years experience directing newscasts.
• Ross Overdrive experience is a huge plus.
• Ability to clearly give direction to crew under pressure.
• Solid typing and spelling skills.
• Ability to read and write.
• College degree preferred.
• Must lift and position 25-pound lighting instruments.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $21.05 to $24.76. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, quarterly and annual incentive plan bonuses, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans,flexible spending accounts, 15 paid vacation days, 2 paid personal days, 9 paid holidays, 40 hours of paid sick leave, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
