WICS in Springfield, IL is seeking a News Videographer/Editor to shoot, interview, and craft visually compelling stories for on-air and social media.

You will edit newscasts with Avid, operate live transmission equipment (LiveU), and perform duties under deadline pressure. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required; holidays, nights and weekends are part of the schedule. Full-time positions include a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Non-linear editing experience required.
• Ability to work in deadline-driven, fast-paced environments.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Flexible shifts, including overnights, weekends, and late evenings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment.

Responsabilités

• Recording video and interviews.
• Editing video to script for newscasts.
• Conducting interviews for news segments.
