WICS in Springfield, IL is seeking a News Videographer/Editor to capture compelling video for on-air and social media. You will shoot, interview, and edit using Avid, delivering stories in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

The role requires self-driven creativity, deadline discipline, and the ability to work holidays, nights, weekends, and severe weather as part of the News Department. A company vehicle will be provided for assignments.

Qualifications

• Non-linear editing experience.
• Availability for flexible shifts, including overnights, weekends, and late evenings.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to work in deadline-driven, fast-paced environments.
• Ability to physically lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Record video and conduct interviews.
• Edit video to script for broadcasts.
• Conduct on-camera and field interviews.
• Safely operate company vehicle.
