Engage Management seeks a skilled Maintenance Tech for Newbury Flats in St. Charles, MO. You will uphold property upkeep, perform general maintenance, and ensure residents enjoy a safe, well-maintained community.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pools/fountains, appliances, and delivering quality customer service. Regular lifting, driving, and on-call shifts are required as part of a team effort to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Experience managing a diverse workforce and driving results.
• Ability to read safety rules and write routine reports.

Responsabilités

• Keep property visually impeccable and functionally sound.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and other systems.
• Lift or move up to 50 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor about work orders and status.
• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance according to schedule.
• Maintain Rent Manager documentation and inventories.

MAINTENANCE TECH:

Reports to: Property Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Position Overview

Join our team at Newbury Flats and make a difference! We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Tech to help preserve the beauty and functionality of our property. In this role, you'll ensure residents enjoy a comfortable, well-maintained community.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the physical property is visually impeccable and functionally sound
• General knowledge and troubleshooting skills of –
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Pools / Fountains
  • Appliance Repair
  • Customer Service
• Required to lift or handle 80-100lbs on a regular basis
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• EPA Section 608 Type I Certification Preferred
• Communicate daily with Maintenance Supervisor concerning status of work orders, make readies, property projects, etc.
• Complete work orders as assigned
• Ensure all issues are reported and documented in Rent Manager
• Perform and complete make readies
• Responsible for making sure preventative maintenance deadlines are met as outlined by Regional Maintenance Manager and directed by Maintenance Supervisor
• Conduct inventory check as required
• Perform transportation inspections as required
• Be on call as scheduled by Property Manager
• Be an active participant in maintenance team Group Text
• Complete all training as required
• Backup for Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Porter
• Required Meetings: weekly property team meeting, quarterly onsite meeting, quarterly team building meeting, semi-annual training, State of Engage annual meeting

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with the ability to drive to daily activities
• Experience managing a diverse workforce; ability to manage conflict, provide direction, and drive results through staff performance management
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers one-on-one or in groups
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions and resolve standardized problems involving a few concrete variables
• HVAC certification
• Ability to frequently sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs and occasionally over 100 lbs; ability to climb ladders
