Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. seeks a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hearing screens for newborns at hospital sites in Knoxville and surrounding locations. You will screen, educate families, and ensure data is accurately recorded with on-the-job training and annual American Academy of Audiology certification.

Role requires standing and lifting, flexible weekend availability, and a commitment to patient care. Comprehensive benefits are provided to eligible staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on results and importance of early intervention.
• Evaluate patient readiness before screening and ensure reliable results.
• Accurately collect demographics and document screen data per protocol.
• Notify supervisor of missed screens and refer babies when needed.
• Schedule outpatient follow-ups for refer babies when appropriate.
