Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform in-hospital hearing screens for newborns. This on-site, part-time role involves weekdays/weekends, with shifts 4-8pm on weekdays and weekend mornings, and on-site training including annual American Academy of Audiology certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or obtainable upon offer.
• Flexibility to work weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform hearing screens and educate parents on early intervention.
• Evaluate patient readiness and collect demographics for screening.
• Document screens, billing, and reporting; ensure data accuracy.
• Schedule outpatient referrals for referred babies when needed.
• Adhere to PPE, safety protocols, and confidentiality.
