On-the-job training with annual certification accredited by the American Academy of Audiology is provided, ensuring high-quality newborn screenings across hospital locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens in hospital settings.
• Provide education to parents on the importance of screening and early intervention.
• Ensure proper data collection and documentation for each newborn screened.
• Maintain PPE, safety protocols, and hospital policies during shifts.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred cases and coordinate follow-up appointments if needed.
