• Active New York Bar in good standing.
• 5–7 years of employment law experience with a strong focus on wage and hour litigation and counseling.
• Experience advising employers on federal, state and local wage and hour laws.
• Experience handling complex wage and hour matters including class, collective, and representative actions.
• Experience defending and prosecuting breaches of restrictive covenants.
• Experience preparing and negotiating employment agreements including executive compensation provisions.
• Ability to leverage AI-driven technologies to improve efficiency, client service, and the quality of legal work products.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating in team-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Advise employers on workplace law issues including employee relations, compliance, and risk management.
• Draft and negotiate employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and executive compensation provisions.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with substantial employment litigation experience who is looking to work on sophisticated matters for a diverse client base in a fast-paced, nationally recognized practice. The role offers meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and the chance to work alongside seasoned practitioners handling complex and high-stakes employment matters.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
• Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing
• 5–7 years of substantive employment law experience, with a strong focus on wage and hour litigation and counseling,
• Significant experience advising employers on compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws
• Experience handling complex wage and hour matters, including class, collective and representative actions in federal and state courts

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary Range: $280,000 – $315,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses
