The Recruiting Hive, a leading labor & employment law firm in New York, seeks an experienced associate attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice Group. You will handle complex wage-and-hour matters, advise employers on compliance, and draft employment agreements, including executive compensation provisions.

Hybrid work arrangement and client-facing responsibilities support professional growth. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of substantive employment law experience, active New York bar

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in New York, in good standing.
• 5–7 years of substantive employment law experience, with a strong focus on wage and hour litigation and counseling.
• Significant experience advising employers on compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws.
• Experience handling complex wage and hour matters, including class, collective and representative actions in federal and state courts.
• Experience defending and prosecuting breaches of restrictive covenants.
• Experience preparing and negotiating employment agreements, including executive compensation provisions, strongly preferred.
• Ability to leverage AI-driven and emerging technologies effectively to improve efficiency, enhance client service, and elevate the quality of legal work products.
• Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively within team-based environments

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney with substantial employment litigation experience who is looking to work on sophisticated matters for a diverse client base in a fast-paced, nationally recognized practice. Candidate Profile

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Salary Range: $280,000 – $315,000 annually, commensurate with experience and education, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses
