Cooley LLP has an opportunity to join the Business Restructuring & Reorganization practice in the New York office. Associates with 3–6 years of experience at a leading law firm handling Chapter 11 bankruptcies and restructurings are encouraged to apply.

Ideal candidates will have general bankruptcy and restructuring experience representing corporate debtors, creditors committees, individual creditors, and third party purchasers, plus experience in managing client relationships and day-to-day

Qualificações

• 3–6 years of experience at a leading law firm in bankruptcy/restructuring.
• Experience handling Chapter 11 bankruptcies and restructurings.
• Strong ability to manage day-to-day workflow and client relationships.

Responsabilidades

• Support clients through bankruptcy and restructuring matters from initiation to resolution.
• Assist in managing multiple clients and matters across stages of bankruptcy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate debtors, creditors committees and purchasers.
