Job summary

Cavender’s Wilmer distribution facility is seeking a Supervisor of New Store & Rodeo to oversee receiving, ticketing, labeling, staging, and shipping for new store and rodeo openings. You will lead a dedicated flow from receipt to ship, training associates and maintaining high standards for accuracy and scheduling.

You will partner with inventory, receiving, put-away, and outbound teams to prevent delays, enforce SOPs, and uphold safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment operations.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong understanding of ticketing, labeling, staging, and warehouse processes.
• Ability to lead teams, provide training, and manage performance in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily receiving, ticketing, labeling, staging, and shipping operations for new store/rodeo shipments.
• Train, coach, and provide direct feedback to associates to support growth.
• Ensure on-time, accurate ship dates and floor-ready inventory for openings.
• Communicate status and potential issues to leadership to prevent opening-day delays.
• Ensure SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards are followed on every shift.
• Organize shifts, schedule coverage, and manage workload to meet demand.
• Validate ticketing and labeling accuracy against the assortment plan.
• Resolve shipment issues on the floor and drive continuous improvement.
